Voici le premier Watch and Think! une série d'article destinés à illustrer les erreurs fréquentes trouvées sur les copies de mes apprenants.

"I have 16 years"

Ici, la 1ère faute est de traduire mot-à-mot!

En anglais, on utilise TO BE pour parler de l'age! La seconde erreur est lexicale, une erreur de vocabulaire en somme. On utilise 'years old' pour indiquer l'age. On peut aussi ne rien mettre.

I have 16 years   I am 16 years old   or   I am 16
